  4. Welcome to Vivid Interactive and  NAKED REUNION!  Please note the
  5. following instructions and guidelines for installing and using
  6. NAKED REUNION and VIRTUAL VIVID!

  11. INSTALLATION
  12. ------------------------------

  14. These programs use Apple's Quicktime to play back the movies you will
  15. experience. We've included a folder called "Place in System" which
  16. contains Quicktime 1.6.2 (if you don't already have Quicktime available
  17. to your System). Open the "Place in System" folder and drag the Quicktime
  18. icon into your closed System Folder. The files will automatically be
  19. placed into the proper locations (into your System "Extensions" folder).
  20. We recommend that you run System 7.0 or later. Once you have placed
  21. Quicktime into your System Folder, restart your computer and double click
  22. on either the NAKED REUNION or VIRTUAL VIVID!" Icon to start The Program!

  24. Expect a ten to thirty second delay after starting The Program (depending
  25. on the speed of your computer). While playing The Program, expect a slight
  26. delay after mouse clicking a button.

  29. Worlds available to you from Vivid Interactive!  Thank you for choosing

  34. We recommend the following for best performance:

  36. --     Disable any screen savers you may have running.
  37. --     Use System 7.0 or later, may run with Systems below 
  38.             System 7, but is not recommended.
  39. --     Use Quicktime 1.6.2
  40. --     Use Sound Manager 3.0
  41. --     4 Megabytes of FREE RAM (We've included many sound and movie
  42.             files which perform best with more FREE RAM.
  43. --    Macintosh LC or greater.
  44. --    68030 CPU or greater, may run with 68020, but is not recommended.
  45. --    13" Color Monitor with atleast 256 colors.
  46. --    Double Speed CD-ROM Drive.

  49. Additional Comments:

  51. These programs run in 8 bit, 16 bit, or 24 bit color. To play these programs
  52. in other than 256 colors (8 bit), simply adjust your Monitor settings to either 
  53. Thousands or Millions of colors (Read your Apple User Manual for instructions
  54. on adjusting your Monitor "Color" settings). Keep in mind, you may require an
  55. additional Video Card or VRAM to facilitate playback at these higher color settings.
